YMCA Tees Valley’s ‘Hub’ supports young people affected by homelessness.  Any young person will be able to access activities, advice and guidance and informal learning delivered through our rolling programme.

Sessions include but are not limited to:

  • Skills and Training
  • Community and personal safety
  • Housing advice
  • Mediation
  • Independency living skills
  • Volunteering/work experience opportunities
  • Support in accessing employment

The ‘Hub’ will provide personalised and focused support in order to enable young people to achieve their goals and to progress.  Young people will develop a menu of activities to get involved in, in order to meet their needs and interests.

Young people do not have to be referred and can just turn up at the ‘Hub’.  They are welcome to drop in to meet the Activities Co-ordinator, based in the ‘Hub’, at a time to suit them.
